Stayed here 8/8/25. Nice little motel. Very clean - better than the Holiday Inn Express I had stayed at further south a couple nights prior! Nice little store as well. Also they sell premium gas, which is nice. Would definitely stay here again if I'm passing through.

It's a gas station in the middle of nowhere. Chicken is as good as it should be, fuel makes car go brrrrrr, energy drinks taste like they should. They check all my boxes for a gas station and then some.

It's always a great play to stop for gas and a snack and a clean enough bathroom. They have a surprisingly good selection of souvenirs, although a bit pricey, but aren't they always.

Kind lady gave me a discount on fuel and clean service center and grocery store.

It's basically just a reasonably well stocked combination large gas station and small general merchant store that's common to rural areas of the Yukon, although there was also an RV park. The staff were as friendly and professional as you could ask for anyone working at a combo gas station/general store to be, the only issue is that it was obvious that they were ESL/ELL (English as a second language/English as a learned language) New Canadians. I don't know anything about the motel since we didn't stay there overnight although based on reviews on trip advisor and their own website it just looks and sounds like a pleasant enough, decent, run of the mill motel with 8 rooms. I also don't really know anything about the restaurant. As far as I know it just served basic decent food such as hamburgers and sandwiches. There's a very large gravel parking lot next to the gas station where person can park their RVs. They even officially let you park there overnight and have a sign saying "RV park" ourisde the store. There are no amenities or hook ups there though and it's literally just a large gravel parkade next to the store and the road where you can legally dry camp/boondock overnight so long as you get the store enployees permission, although as far as I know it's free to stay there overnight, there's not much noise or traffic from the road at night and it's close to both the Alaskan border as well as a quaint little nearby town (forget the name) that has historic old buildings, a nice Western food restaurant, an art gallery and the preserved remains of an old steamboat ship located there. This gas station/general store/motel/free basic RV park is also located relatively close to the small Carcross desert.

Arrived 3 mins before the store closed to ask for a room - the place across the road was full and it had just started to snow so we were super glad they could accommodate us. It was just a place to stay after a long drive but we were pleasantly surprised. Room and bathroom were spacious and clean, beds comfortable. We visited the store in the morning for coffee and gas, it's pretty well stocked and the coffee was good! Also got a discount on gas for booking a room. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again if passing through.

Nice little convenience store. Nice people working there. Good service.
